A Philadelphia native, Brandon is attending Swarthmore as a McCabe scholar, special majoring in English Literature and Black Studies with a minor in Educational Studies. He has been devoted to racial justice and community organizing for students city-wide. His efforts have led to the formation of several corporately sponsored student unions, anti-racist initiatives, and the Philly Black Students Alliance nonprofit, where he served as a CORE member and Chairman. Out of the district, he coordinates volunteer teams and donations at a Center City shelter and serves as a field organizer for a Pennsylvania political party. Joining UrbEd in 2020 as the Director of Communications, he now serves as the Executive Director of Administration and Strategy, managing the organization, office development, strategic planning, finances, HR, grants, government relations and board relations.
