Born and raised in Southwest Philly and a graduate of the School District of Philadelphia. Tamir mixed his love of policy and organizing to launch UrbEd. Tamir previously served as a city youth commissioner, political campaign aide to House Leader Joanna McClinton and other elected officials and as a student adviser to Dr. Hite. His work has been featured on GMA, The Inquirer, 6 ABC, and by First Lady & President Obama.
