Jemille is an experienced public policy professional who has spent several years working in legislative offices in the Pennsylvania State Senate and Philadelphia City Council. He has also worked on numerous political campaigns, written for a delegation candidate, and liaised with dozens of elected officials on behalf of a private business. His work has been featured by WHYY, Chalkbeat Philadelphia, and Politics PA. Being a prolific writer, Jemille received national acclaim from the Solutions Journalism Network as the first high school student in the world to ever be recognized by the organization. His work has been published in locally and internationally read media outlets like the Philadelphia Citizen, Pasquines, the Philadelphia Weekly, The Bullhorn, and The Teen Magazine. At UrbEd, Jemille serves as our Director of Research.
