The director of finance & operations will work with the co-executive directors to ensure financial stability for the organization. The director of finance & operations will be tasked with monitoring timesheets, monitoring and updating the budget, overseeing spending, on and off-boarding staff members, and coordinating the board finance committee. Other duties will include managing and updating UrbEd Donor Software, team-wide operations organization, coordinating with our accountant, and assisting with tracking donors in partnership with the development director. This position reports directly to the Co-Executive Director of Administration and Strategy.

Monthly Salary: $400-$500/a month

- Requirements

  • Attending UrbEd Team Meetings and Weekly meetings with the UrbEd leadership team
  • Applicant must be on the College level
  • Applicant must have a general understanding of financial management, organization, and an interest in the UrbEd mission of Educational Advocacy.
  • Effectively Communicate with the UrbEd team using virtual resources (ie. Slack, Email, Zoom…)
  • The Director of Finance and Operations is expected to dedicate 9 hours weekly.
